Manila, Philippines – From April 28 to May 1, 2024, Family First Global, in partnership with Pamilya Muna Pilipinas and the Fellowship of Fathers Foundation, hosted its largest annual FFG Leader’s Summit to date. Nearly 200 attendees from 10 countries, from Papua New Guinea to Poland, gathered for the Family Night event.

The FFG Leader’s Summit focused on building strong families amid global challenges like wars, the persecution of Christian families, and divisive perspectives on family values. This year's theme, “Together We Are Stronger and Stronger in Jesus,” underscored unity and faith as vital to family strength.

The Honorable Gregory Slayton, Chairman of Family First Global, stressed the power of collective effort: “Our organization is like strands of a strong rope. Single strands can’t do much, but together we can help lots of people by building stronger, happier and more successful families centered on the Almighty.”

Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Glenn Yu, Chairman of Family First Asia, highlighted the profound purpose of families in his opening remarks: “Family is the most basic unit of society, but a strong family can change the world. The purpose of the family is to pass on the story of God’s promise. The family is a vehicle where culture and values are passed on. This did not happen by accident, but by design because He sees families not just as one generation, but in multiple generations.”

To further inspire and equip the FFG leaders, well-known family advocates, Keynote Speakers Joy and Edric Mendoza shared their insights on maintaining family strength. Joy Mendoza, a writer and mother of six, emphasized love in parenting: “Without love, influence is impossible.” Building on this, Edric Mendoza, an education expert, likened parenting to a warrior with an arrow: “We must aim our children in the right direction and let go, guiding them towards their God-given mission.” Joy and Edric gave a wonderful, inspirational presentation.

Fun-loving representatives of FFG chapters from the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Myanmar showcased their culture during the family night.

The summit's success was made possible by the dedication of all participating chapters, volunteers, partners, and supporters. Family First Pakistan holds dozens of Family Strengthening Seminars and Training of Trainers in Cities and Provinces All Over Pakistan

We are thrilled to share the latest update on our mission to strengthen families worldwide. Today we want to highlight the amazing work of Families for Pakistan (FFP), who have been busy conducting seminars and trainings all over the great nation of Pakistan to empower parents and leaders.

Over the past few months, FFP has hosted 14 Strengthening Family Seminars in various locations nationwide (ICT, Punjab, and Lahore). These events were attended by hundreds of parents who were eager to learn how to build solid foundations for their families. FFP focused on helping participants create a Noble Family Vision for their families and gain insights from the global bestseller Be a Better Dad Today. In addition, FFP provided training on the Ten Tools of Fatherhood to equip fathers with practical skills to better support their children.

Hundreds of Parents From All Over Pakistan Have Participated in Family Strengthening Workshops

FFP also conducted a Training of Trainers on Family Strengthening with pastors and church leaders. Over 70 pastors and leaders were certified in the recently held training in Faisalabad.

One of America’s Foremost Charity Monitors Gives FoFF & FFG Highest Marks

Dallas, Texas, February 2023: Guidestar.org has just designated the Fellowship of Fathers Foundation and its international partner Family First Global as Platinum Members, their highest-level award for transparency and financial management. Washington, D.C., February 2023: The Fellowship of Fathers Foundation and its international partners at Family First Global are off to a strong start to the New Year. The Chairman of FoFF & FFG, the Honorable Gregory W. Slayton, hosted former U.S. Vice President Mike Pence for a discussion of US foreign policy and other issues at his home in Dallas in January.

The next day, Slayton flew to Poland and Ukraine for high-level meetings and to address a gathering of over 200 regional Pastors, each of whose churches are serving large numbers of Ukrainian refugees.

Finally, Slayton had the honor of speaking at the Ukrainian Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., where he met with many friends from the US, Ukraine, and Poland, including the Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S., the Honorable Oksana Markova.

Meanwhile, FFG’s partner nations all over Asia are off to an equally strong start. Family First Pakistan conducted numerous “Family First” seminars in the major cities of Pakistan in January. Family First Philippines continues its Leadership Training Programs for all members of the Philippine National Police. Family First Indonesia is serving families all over the world's largest Muslim nation via TV, radio, social media, school partnerships, and other in-person programs.

FFG’s Vice-Chairman Glenn Yu, who will become FFG’s Chairman in April, spoke of FFG’s continued growth: “The wisdom of our strategy of ‘local leadership’ is now clear. Almost every FFG Nation is growing in size and influence while deepening its ministry impact, due to our great local leadership in each of those nations,” he concluded.

Once again, this year, by God’s great grace, FoFF & FFG hopes to serve, help, and bless millions of families all over the world regardless of their race, creed, origin, or socio-economic circumstances.
